INDIA-PAKISTAN FINAL SETS ADVERTISEMENT RATES 10 MILLION RUPEES PER 30 SECONDS IN STAR SPORTS

Indian-Pakistan ICC Champions Trophy final to be played in England on Sunday sky-rocketed the advertisement rate to 10 times the normal price as per the industrial sources. The rise of cost is due to the expected increase of viewers for the final clash between the two arch-rivals. Millions of cricket fans from across the world are set to watch the match on TV.  

Pakistan, ranking in bottom of the list has had remarkable comeback after heavy defeat by India in the opening match played in this ICC Champions Trophy. Pakistan has been known for surprising upsets and major teams such as South Africa, England and Sri Lanka have met painful upsets by this young talented team leading to their early exit from the tournament. However, history has it that Pakistan has never been able to win a single match in major ICC tournament. And this is the best chance to re-write and re-create the history again against the best team of the world.   

On the eve of this final clash, advertisement rate soared costing about 10 million rupees ($155,267) per 30-second spot which is 10 times that of normal cost of around 1 million rupees paid on average for most of the Indian shows, as per the news from industry. Some of the big companies who had already booked advertisement spots during the final are Nissan Motor, Intel Corp, Emirates, Indian tyre maker MRF, Chinese mobile maker Oppo.
